We work with amazing foster homes, local rescuers, the community and a team of committed volunteers to rescue dogs from the streets, improper conditions or overcrowded shelters.

Leash mandatory:
According to state and municipal laws, keeping your dog on a leash is mandatory in all public spaces. This means the street, the beach and natural trails.
Beware of mosquitos:
Our mosquitos can transmit to your dog a deadly parasite called HeartWorm. Make sure your dog takes a monthly preventive for heartworm when visiting the island. (We can deliver this to you, contact us).
