Tomasita is a tiny dog, 6 years old, 6kgs, 2 teeth.

 

When Ms. Eli (a good samaritan) found her, she was lying curled up on the middle of the road, the hot road, under the very hot caribbean sun.

Her skin was red, swollen and stinky like rotten flesh. 

​

Ms. Eli called us, we sent the vet, Dra. Norma Hernandez. 

 

We found that Tomasita also had a very, very serious ear infection. Her blood test was not good at all, and she also tested positive for erlichia and anaplasm. 

 

We have no idea how such a tiny and beautiful dog ended up in those conditions. What we do know is that many amazing people got together to help her.
